Leaether Strip releases tribute to Alan Wilder
It's no secret that Claus Larsen from Leather Strip is a big Depeche Mode fan (he recorded various Depeche Mode covers for Alfa Matrix for instance under the Klutae and Leather Strip flag) and it's also no secret that he especially adores the production work done by Alan Wilder in the band for what were Depeche Mode's best albums.
Today he announces a vinyl, "Fools: a tribute to Alan Wilder" holding 4 tracks written by Alan Wilder for Depeche Mode. Included in this vinyl release, which will be released somewhere at the end of April, are the following tracks: "Fools", "If you want", "In your memory (Reminder mix)" and "Fools (Quiet)". It's sitll a mystery to us why Wilder didn't write more tunes for Depeche Mode because these were (and still are) real gems when they were released back in time.
