The early impressisons of the songs SPOILERS AHEAD WARNING!!!!
Not in album order
Welcome to my world - Techno/Trip Hop Dance meets minimalist house.
Slow - Bluesy feel, Gospel Choir (kind of a "get right with me" meets "personal jesus")
My Little Universe - a straight forward modern synth pop (like "In Sympathy" or "Suffer well")
Goodbye- Lush chorus , kind of a SOFAD feel, a real winner
Soft Touch/ Raw Nerve- Industrial , like more advanced "sinner in me"
Child Inside - Martin's lone vocal track, superb lyrics, rich melody, exactly what you want in a "martin" song.
Should Be Higher - best song on the album, should have been first single, fresh classicly Depeche uses the "It's No Good" formula to slaughter, does in fact have that Synth lead everyone is waiting for.
Angel - you've heard it
Heaven - you've heard it
Soothe my Soul - Yearning Dave Gahan, (little like a more electronic "Condemnation")
Alone - more techno pop
Secret to the End - Synthesizer masturbation
Always - Nothing like "Always" by Erasure"
